Valentina Di
Prisco was born in Caracas - Venezuela in 1970. For
the past 12 years, she has dedicated her life to cinema
and video; she has worked in the field of short and
feature-length production, for diverse television networks.
More recently, she has focused on the promotion of European
cinema and the organisation of cultural events. Her
father, who is of Italian origin, transmitted his love
of Italy to her. In 1999, she decided to completely
change her life, packed her suitcase and headed for
Milan, to complete her education. Since then, she has
lived and worked in this city. Since 2000, she collaborates
with l'AIACE (the Friends of Arthouse Cinema Association)
on the selection of works and the coordination and organisation
of INVIDEO-International Exhibition of Art Video and
Cinema Beyond. Beyond this, on an international level,
she is a director of "Making of" items for EUROPANET-promotion
of European Cinema Association) on the selection of
works and the Internet (www.makingofeuropa.net).

Alongside
this, and of equal importance to her, she also works as
a Spanish teacher and Italian-Spanish-Italian translator.
An activity, she does with passion and a sense of satisfaction.
Beyond this, she also works on electronic subtitles in
Italian for cinema events featuring original language
