Invideo '98

"This year the observatory focused once again - after the panorama of 1997 - on Italian production "intertwining" it with new work from various other countries. It deliberately juxtaposed Italian videos with those from the rest of the world throughout the various sections". As always the original intention remained the same: "The desire to be amazed by the view of 'others', the search for works revealing an original, visionary eye; a determined view undaunted by audiovisual technology and the much imitated television".
