INVIDEO 2003 (5-9 november 2003) enjoyed a third year of hospitality at the Spazio Oberdan in Milan, where an adhoc environment was created. The attendees was able to view works on monitors in the entrance and also on the big screen in the projection room. In total, the public had access to three viewing posts: a monitor with headphones (for the classics from INVIDEO's archive), a video projection on a big screen with digital dolby surround sound set up for video as well as cinema for the event. Throughout the exhibition, the public could also view the works of Totem - a series of videos prepared for a column of monitors at the entrance to the exhibition. An increasingly loyal and attentive public (a total of 7,500 spectators) was presented with 140 works from 22 countries. Alongside the new works a selection of 120 video art classics from 20 countries were also shown, representing the best international and Italian works from the 1980s and 1990s to be deposited at the Medialogo. The public was also able to participate in a number of meetings with Italian and international filmmakers on the aesthetics of their presented works, experimentation in cinema and video and opportunities for expression offered by new technology.
