Robert Cahen is one of the most important filmmakers in the European video art scene. A musician, before becoming a video artist, he graduated under the guidance of Pierre Shaeffer. This musical experience, led him, technically and conceptually, to video experimentation.

The retrospective included works such as the 1983, Juste le temps, and 1990, La Collection.
