ROMANO FATTOROSSI
A convinced believer in the importance of "doing", he stopped his activities as a critic but is still active in the organisation of cinema, video and digital art events. He collaborated with numerous international festivals (Caracas, Venice, Turin, etc.) and directed a number of others (Montecatini, Pantelleria, L'altro Cinema). He still directs INVIDEO. He has organised an enormous number of events, conventions and meetings in diverse continents as well as three (hopefully soon to be four) editions of Techne, between Art and Technology, an exhibition of video installations and interactive exhibits of which he is particular proud. He belongs to various national bodies (Eurovisioni, Afic) even if he is increasingly drawn to bodies with a European dimension: CICAE and Mediasalles, Europanet and ECFF (previously), Medscreen, Moving Stories and various other initiatives (today). If he had to choose one book for a desert island, it would be "Moby Dick" even if his preferred author is Borges. He is a firm believer in Europe.
